About this object
Outside surface is covered with a floral design in filigree enamel, done in 17th century manner. Lower part is melon-shaped, decorated with rosettes and leaves in filigree ename against a background of alternately blue and red. The stem and the base are partly gilded and partly decorated with filigree enamel in formalized floral pattern.
