A spectacular Imperial Russian 88 standard silver and shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh made by Feodor Ruckert and retailed by Ovchinnikov, Moscow, 1899-1908. Of oval form with pointed prow and flat, shaped handle, the center enameled with a double headed eagle against a green ground within a turquoise beaded cartouche. The balance of the body, both interior and exterior completely covered with highly stylized shaded floral and foliate designs against a soft pink ground.
