A VERY FINE RUSSIAN SILVER SHADED ENAMEL & GEM-SET BOX, FEODOR RUCKERT (MOSCOW 1896-1908).
The rectangular box with rope twist borders decorated with shaded enamel flower forms, and the hinged lid decorated with 15 cabochon rubies. The interior brightly gilded. Hallmarked Moscow circa 1896-1908, silver standard 88, and Cyrillic maker's mark F.R. A very fine specimen. Length 2.75 inches (7.5 cm).
