Description
A Russian gilded silver & shaded cloisonné enamel kovsh, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1899-1908. Of traditional form with hook handle & raised on oval foot, the exterior enameled with lively stylized tulips & daisies on a mottled pink ground, interspersed with Pan-Slavic style geometric ornament of applied cloisons against a deep iron red ground. The underside with later scratched inventory number 10188. Length: 4 3/4 in. (12.1 cm).
