Description

of baluster shape, the lower body with lobed cartouches depicting swimming swans and brightly colored stylized flowers and foliage against light green, pale blue, pink, green, and Chinese red, all with applied cable borders, the upper portion with sprays of brightly colored foliage springing from fanciful tulips, all against a cream ground, the base enameled purple between gilded silver filigree scrolls, the gilt rim with cable border, the shaped handles with conforming decoration, on ring foot, the interior gilded
undoubtedly by Feodor Rückert, although apparently unmarked; struck with later Soviet control marks
