the circular bowl decorated with shaded autumnal flowers and leaves within hexagonal reserves, the unusual upright bombé handle with coil finial, geometric borders. the base inscribed in Cyrillic: 'St Petersburg 1914/ E. Fabergé', struck K.Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, apparently overstriking workmaster's initials, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 27852
