Moscow, circa 1880, of ovoid form, the interior enameled in the center with a gryphon entwined by a snake within a quatrefoil reserve below a cossack flanked by two exotic birds the surrounds, exterior, cartouche-shaped handle and oval base enameled with multi-colored scrolling foliage on a peach ground, marked with Cyrillic initials of maker, and scratched inventory number.
