the underside of the bowl finely painted with a portrait of a young peasant girl in traditional costume, wearing a black and red patterned scarf around her hair, and a white shirt, within a cloisonne border enamelled in turquoise, olive green, blue and pale pink stylised foliate scrolls and geometric designs, the handle similarly decorated overall, length 16.8cm
