A rectangular silver-gilt snuffbox with an en plein miniature portraying a warrior at the crossroads based on a painting by V.Vasnetsov, the miniature is flanked by stylized birds. All sides (except bottom) of the box are enameled in muted tones of the Old Russian style with a design of stylized foliage.
