Early shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh by Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, circa 1890, enameled with colorful floral designs in 17th century style on olive green ground.

Condition:
Gilding is gone but enamel is all original (no restoration) and near MINT.
The kovsh is very heavy for its size. Weight 341 g (12 oz).
Marked on the foot rim, under the base and on the handle with 88 standard (.916 silver) and workmaster's initials Cyrillic 'F.R.'
Scratched inventory number 7588, almost certainly of the FABERGE firm for which Ruckert produced cloisonne enamel objects since 1877.
