Silver-gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel napkin ring, Moscow, 1908-1917, marked with 88 standard and master's initials of Feodor Ruckert, enameled with stylized flowers, floral scrolls, and geometric motifs on dark blue ground. Height 1 3/16 in. (3,1 cm). Diameter 2 1/16 in. (5,3 cm). Condition: rubbed gilding, a couple tiny surface chips to enamel.
Feodor Ruckert, with his unique and easily recognizable style, is the most sought-after Russian enameler. Since 1877, he supplied the Moscow branch of Faberge firm with cloisonne enamel.
