Rare Cigarette Box.
Completely decorated with enamels front and back.Also, on the front, there is engraved the face of an old man.
On his barb, there is a small space to engrave the name of the owner, so to personalize this object.
Made by the famous silversmith and master enameller Fedor Ruckert.
He worked for Faberge' between 1896 and 1908.
This Cigarette Box has an hallmark with the letters PHI and R of the Cyrillic alphabet, initials for Fedor Ruckert.
A piece by the same Master Enameller is at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
