Description: In the "Old Russian" style, this beautiful teaspoon was made by the 11th Artel or workshop in Moscow in the Silver Age. The 11th Artel was a cooperative of silversmiths and enamellers specializing in Russian Pan-slavic designs similar in quality to that of Faberge workmaster, Fedor Ruckert. The fig-shaped bowl and both sides of the handle (images 2 & 3 for closeup) are enamelled with subdued tones of grey, aubergine, navy blue, enhanced by pastel colored flower motifs. With gilt interior bowl. Stamped 11 A. for the workshop, with a kokoshnik (Russian headdress stamp), 84 for the Russian silver standard in zolotniks and the delta sign for Moscow 1908-1917. A perfect gift for the discerning collector, completely original and in good condition with very minor repair to edge of bowl-6 1/4 in. (13.3 cm.) long.
