Each cup, champlevé enamelled overall with varicoloured geometric and foliate motifs, on a domed foot, rising to a tapering knopped stem and three beaded supports, centring three coats of arms of Russian cities, surmounted by a bowl with plique-à-jour enamelled rim, the interiors enamelled in translucent red, blue, pink, green, white, dark blue and line green over a wavy guilloché ground; the stands and spoons similarly enamelled, all marked throughout, one stand with later marks
