Of traditional form, on a circular foot, with slightly raised prow and hook handle, the bowl enamelled overall with varicolor shaded scrolling foliage on a cream ground within corded borders, the hook handle similarly decorated, the base with engraved inscription in Russian ‘[To] Pokrovskaya M[anufactory], P.N. Gryaznov from Successor I.A. Treumov’, marked under base and handle
