A parcel-gilt cloisonne enamel Letter-Holder marked with Cyrillic initials of Fedor Ruckert, Moscow, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 1225
L-shaped, on four scroll feet with base partly decorated in blue, green, brown and black, the shaped fixed rear upright with pierced, chased and engraved double-headed eagle amid scrolls with enamel border of stylized serpent, flowers and sprays, the hinged front with two guards with crossed axes before closed doors within bomb arch of flowers and scrolls on cream ground, marked on flange and under base
