A silver-gilt cloisonne enamel Kovsh marked with the Cyrillic initials of Fedor Ruckert, Moscow, 1896-1908
Shaped as a stylized bird, the oval body with four varicolor flowerheads centered by green cabochon stones with further flowerheads, floral and foliate scrolls and geomitric motifs on cream ground with dark blue rim, the raised curved tail with floral spray on pale green ground with blue, green and red cabochon stones within border of geometric motifs on cream ground, the raised prow in the form of a bird's head imitating feathers and scrolls, with red cabochon eyes, gilt interior, the base with Russian inscription dated 4 December 1906, marked under base
