The reverse of each fig-shaped bowl and flat handle enamelled with two different geometric designs in muted tones of taupe, moss green, violet and gray on cream and russet-colored grounds in original fitted case, stamped with The Imperial Warrant

The enamel designs of these spoons recall those of the Faberge Harlequin set, cf. Exhibition Catalogue, Faberge, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1977, S 19, pi. 124, in the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph, Tehran; also cf. Christie's, Geneva, Movember 17,1981, lot 116
