Superb Russian silver and shaded enamel kovsh by Fedor Ruckert, engulfed in scrolling floral patterns and highly detailed birds against a seafoam green ground. Measuring approximately 4 1/2" (or 11.5 cm) in length and 2 1/2" (or 6.4 cm) in width, the interior is inscribed "Prosit! Henry 24./8.1902.". The attractively ornate handle is enameled en suite to the piece and it is in excellent condition. Marked for 88 standard silver, Moscow manufacture between 1896 and 1907 and with the makers mark, only partially visible. A delightful example of Ruckert's early floral style
