Beautiful Silver-gild enamel Easter Egg, decorated with flower ornaments and Swans. There are marks: the kokoshnik hallmark 88 and there are initials "F.R." in Cyrillic. I have found in the book "Golden & Silversmith in Russia, 15-20 C." that the initials are for Fedor Ruckert who started making objects with cloisonne enamel in Moscow in 1877. Ruckert also sold his objects independently which explains why a number of his pieces bear no Faberge signature. Size is: 4 3/4"x 3 1/2"at the widest point. Comes with a stand in a shape of chicken legs.
