A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL EASTER EGG
Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1899–1908.
Exquisite two-part Easter egg of traditional ovoid form, richly decorated throughout in shaded polychrome cloisonné enamel with scrolling foliage, stylized flowers, and leaf forms in an elaborate symmetrical arrangement. The egg consists of two halves and stands on a custom-made silver-gilt scrolled stand. Gilded interior.
Both halves of the egg marked: 88 Russian silver standard, maker's mark 'FR' in Cyrillic.

Condition
Good condition, enamel well preserved. Normal light wear and traces of use, consistent with age.
