A Russian Pan-Slavic-Style Cloisonné Enameled Kovsh Fabergé, Attributed to Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1908-1917, with scratched inventory number 14383 5 x 6-3/4 x 4-1/4 inches (12.7 x 17.1 x 10.8 cm) 480 grams
PROVENANCE:
Christie's New York, The Greenfield Collection of Russian Enamels, October 20th, 1998, lot 118; An important California private collection; John Atzbach Antiques, Bellevue, Washington, acquired from the above; Acquired from the above by the present owner. This work is almost certainly belongs to the later period of Rückert's production. Its design shows the influence of the Stroganov School, of which Rückert's son Pavel Feodorovich was a graduate.
