Magnificent Russian silver enameled box. Has oval panel to cover with miniature landscape enameled painting after Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin's (RUSSIAN, 1832-1898) original work. Has two hinged handles to each end. Each corner adorned with beaded column. Exquisite multicolor enameled design throughout depicting prince with sword and double headed eagles. Holds 88 silver purity mark and Fedor Rückert (RUSSIAN, 1840-1917) workmaster marks. Marked to underside of cover and to bottom. Measures 4 1/4" height x 10 1/8" length x 6 3/4" depth (10.7cm x 25.7cm x 17.1cm). Total weight of 3376 grams / 108.57 ozt.
