Description: Beautiful enameled box with hand painted miniature. Has multicolored scrolled enamel design throughout. Miniature is after Viktor Vasnetsov's "The Knight at the Crossroads" (finished in 1878). Box made late 19th or early 20th century. Fedor Ruckert maker's mark to bottom. Moscow town marks and 88 silver purity mark to bottom. Measures 2" height x 4 1/8" length x 3" depth (5.1cm x 10.5cm x 7.6cm).
