A Russian silver-gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel bowl Fedor Ruckert, Moscow 1896-1908 the squat circular bowl supported on three rope-twist ball feet, with six lobes decorated inside and out with stylized floral sprays alternating with exotic wading birds on pale-blue and cream-coloured grounds, the moss-green rim with filigree, the centre enamelled with the Stork and the Fox from Krylov's fable
