A fine Russian silver-gilt cloisonne and en-plein enamel jewel box Fedor Ruckert, Moscow 1908-1917 rectangular on four panel supports, the sides decorated with polychrome scrolling foliage and floral motifs on turquoise and violet grounds, the swing handles similarly decorated, the hinged cover with a plaque decorated en-plein with 'The Unveiling of the Bride' after Konstantin Makovsky, raised on sloping borders decorated with scrolling flowers, the sides with two bands of raised studs decorated with a chequered pattern, the interior of the lid decorated with translucent pale mauve enamel over engraved stylized flowers, velvet-lined interior
