An exquisite Russian silver enameled box. Has oval hand painted enamel miniature depicting the Kremlin. Has two hinged handles to each end. Each corner adorned with column. Exquisite multicolor enameled design throughout depicting prince with sword and double headed eagles. 14 Cabochon cut ruby stones set to top of cover. Holds 88 silver purity mark and Fedor Rückert (RUSSIAN, 1840-1917) workmaster marks. Marked to underside of cover and to bottom. Measures 4 1/4" height x 10 1/8" length x 6 3/4" depth (10.7cm x 25.7cm x 17.1cm). Total weight of 109.2ozt.
