LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER JEWELED KOVSH WITH MINIATURE

A large Jeweled Russian silver enameled kovsh having a multicolor floral design throughout with 7 cabochon cut rubies mounted throughout. Holds hand painted miniature depicting a mourning warrior on a horse at a tomb stone after Viktor Mikhailovich Vasnetsov's (RUSSIAN, 1848-1919) original work 'The Knight at the Crossroads'. Bottom holds 84 silver purity marks with Fedor Ruckert workmaster marks. Measures 6 1/2" height x 11" length x 5 5/8" depth (16.5cm x 27.9cm x 14.2cm). Total weight of 29ozt.
