Feodor Ruckert Faberge workmaster Feodor Ruckert, born in Moscow, of German origin, made articles in Moscow in cloissonй enamel. Faberge's Moscow signature often obliterates Ruckert's initials. Ruckert was Faberge's principal workmaster in enamel and also sold his cloisonnй objects independently, which explains why a number of his pieces bear no Fabere signature.
Feodor Ruckert's objects are treasured the world over and fetch high prices at the great Auction Houses. A Ruckert silver box recently sold at Sworders Auctions for $79,000.00, a figure far above the estimate. I invite you to search the Internet and auction catalogs. You will see that Feodor Fuckert masterpieces are becoming more and more popular among sophisticated collectors and great museums.
