This is Russian silver-gilt enamel Triptych Icon with the enamel painting. There are marks: the kokoshnik hallmark 84' - and the initials:"F.R." in Cyrillic. I have found in the book "Golden & Silversmith in Russia, 15-20 C."by M.Postnikova-Losyeva, that initials belong to Fedor Ruckert, who was also making silver icons with cloisonne enamel in Moscow in the end of 19th century. Size is 3 3/4"x 2"1/2-x 1/2' when it is closed, and 3 3/4"x5 1/4" open. This is a late copy of the classical triptyh icon of the St.Mother of God Maria Myromskaya, Arkhangel Mikhael (left) and Arkhangel Gabriel (right). The work is absolutely beautiful
