A VERY FINE RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL KOVSH, FEODOR RUCKERT, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1897. Resting on a flared circular foot, the bombe form body profusely decorated with scrolling foliage of shaded enamel on a moss green ground. The substantial four sided hook handle also similarly enameled and the interior gilded. Hallmarked Moscow, circa 1897, Cyrillic makers mark ФР for Feodor Ruckert, 88 silver standard, and scratched inventory number 1272 . Length 4.2 inches (10.5 cm).
