AN EXCEPTIONAL RUSSIAN SILVER GILT, GEM SET, AND SHADED ENAMEL KOVSH, FEODOR RUCKERT, MOSCOW, 1908-1917.
With pronounced prow and wide ornate handle modeled in the Neo Slavic taste, the sides and handle enameled with flowers and geometric patterns and the interior floor completely covered with flower forms against a peach colored ground. The prow, sides, and handle set with polished cabochons. Hallmarked Moscow, 1908-1917, Cyrillic maker's mark of Feodor Ruckert and 88 standard. Length 5.5 inches (14 cm).
