An Imperial Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonné enamel footed bowl, Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, 1896-1908. The body beautifully decorated front and back with pairs of birds taking off from the water with a setting sun in the background; the two views separated right and left with large-scale shaded enamel flowers. The underside of the bowl painted to look like water. The foot decorated with shaded rosettes against dark red grounds.
