An Imperial Russian 88 standard gilded silver and shaded cloisonne enamel footed bowl, possibly an open salt by Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, 1896-1908. The body beautifully decorated front and back with pairs of birds taking off from the water with a setting sun in the background; the two views separated right and left with large scale shaded enamel flowers. The underside of the bowl painted to look like water. The foot decorated with shaded rosettes against dark red grounds. I truly remarkable piece.
