A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel bowl, Feodor Ruckert overstruck by the stamp of Pavel Ovchinnikov, Moscow, 1896-1908. Circular bowl on three ball feet with lobed panels completely enameled in stylized multi-color scrolling floral and foliate motifs, the interior circular cartouche decorated with a fanciful brightly feathered bird against a gray ground. 88 silver standard.
