A Faberge silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel cigarette case, workmaster Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, circa 1908-1917, with scratched inventory number 22323. Of rectangular form with rounded corners, both sides centered with a flower enameled in shaded lilac surrounded with stylized floral motifs within a white diamond shaped reserve, the corners decorated with geometric and floral motifs against an olive green ground, cabochon sapphire thumb piece. The interior of the case engraved on one side with the initials “JJ”. Dimensions: 4″ x 3 1/2″ (10.1 x 8.8 cm).
