Description
An exquisite Faberge gilded silver and shaded cloisonne enamel cigarette case, workmaster Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, circa 1908-1917. The rectangular body decorated in an art nouveau style, with vibrant multicolor scrolling floral and foliate motifs against a gilded ground. The interior gilded with cabochon thumb-piece. Struck on the exterior with Faberge, 88 Russian silver standard, workmaster’s marks and 280. Dimensions: 5 x 2 1/2 in.
