A Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonné enamel pillbox, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, circa 1899-1908. Of cushion form, the exterior enameled with stylized blossoms in shades of magenta, peach, and yellow set among scrolling green foliage, all against a lapis blue ground, the hinged lid with gilded silver thumbpiece. Dimensions: 3/4 h x 2 d in. (1.9 x 5.1 cm).
