Feodor Ruckert Kovsh
A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonné enamel kovsh, Feodor Ruckert, Moscow, circa 1900. Of traditional form, the ovoid body and shaped flat handle are completely decorated in a scrolling foliate motif against a blue enamel ground and a plique-a-jour enameled rim of geometric shapes. The center features an oval cartouche of a winged griffin.
