Ruckert Enamel Kovsh
A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh, made by Feodor Ruckert and retailed by Ovchinnikov, Moscow, 1896-1908. Of traditional form supported on a flared circular base, the kovsh is completely worked in a multi-color scrolling floral and foliate motif with large flowerheads against a cream ground, the shaped scroll handle and prow similarly decorated, a band of pale turquoise enamel beads encircles the upper rim.
