A fine and rare set of 6 Russian gilded silver and shaded enamel miniature open salts with matching spoons by Feodor Ruckert, in their original silk lined wooden retailer's box of Orest Kurlykov. Each salt having 4 shaped cartouches filled with a large pink shaded enamel flower against a green enamel ground; the cartouches separated by additional pink flowers against pale blue grounds, all sitting upon 3 tiny ball feet. Each of the accompanying spoons having the backs of their circular bowls covered with a large shaded enamel flower against matching pale blue grounds, their simple gilded silver handles with sharp hooks at the end for hanging from the rim of the open salt. Moscow, 1896-1908.
